Report: Thursday: Went out 18 miles ssw pass 6 snaps 1 12lbs the rest just keepers lost a huge bottom fish we figure it was a big snap ate a 1lb northern mackerl butterflied 40 feet under boat in 104 feet of water. All snaps including vermilon, lanes came on whole squid sow rig. Released the mercury mackerl we caught. We saw lots of grass, turtles, and tide lines and nothing there. I just don't understand it. Friday: 1 leagal red snap THATS ALL. This is my 5th trip in my boat and I found out 2 things. 1. My boats not big enough. 2. My gears not big enough (notice in the report the big one got off)well just to be honest about it kick my @$$! We tried chumming but the shark leaches were everywhere. Come on somebody post some positive reports for us monkey boat fisherman
