Report:
I went out with the family hoping to catch a few and that is all we did. The weather was spotty and on the way out southeast of the bank I seen something splashing on the water . I thought it was a small school of fish so I kind of tried to sneak up to it. When I got close enough it was 3 good size blue sharks who had stumbled on to a fish carcass and where fighing over it. They finally pulled it under. We started off pretty slow a few undersize fish and just keeping our bait on the bottom was a chore as there was quite a undercurrent until the high tide abated. We finally got a few as I really didnt mark many fish at all and being with the family we were only out about 15 miles and they really didnt want to go out any further. We did manage to get 2 decent size haddock and one fairly lg cod then the rains came and the family wanted in. We started in and then the rains stopped and we went back out aways but the family were bored so I finally just came in.It is truly hard to fish serious with the family so I guess next time I will go out myself as I usually find the fish when I take the time to move around and really they hate to go out anyway I just think they went out for me. Well until next time good luck to all those who go out and keep me posted as I do everyone. Kevin Parrington
