Report:
I had back to back overnighters on a private 28 foot boat this weekend. It was as easy as fishing could possibly be. We headed south to the floaters and quickly caught a couple blackfin on poppers and started a chumline. First chunk bait in the water was a yellowfin and that continued for the next 5 baits. We put six chunks in the water and caught six fifty pound yellowfin. We also picked up two on poppers and had to head because we had run out of room. All of the fish were caught on 5/0 frenzy hooks and frenzy angry poppers. We were done in 2 hours with 8 yellowfin.

We headed out the next night a little more prepared as we had a nice fishbag so we could keep some extra fish. We needed it. Same drill as the night before except with the extra space we were able to keep our limit of 12 yellowfin. We caught nine on chunks and three on poppers and had four double hookups and a triple hookup. It was fast fishing and we had our limit of 12 yellowfin in exactly three hours.
