Report: My wife & I fished the Bridge on July 3 & 4 for a couple of hours each day right around high tide. On each visit to see relatives on the Cape we have fished here with mixed results. Stage Harbor is actually pretty fertile ground but it can be hit or miss - depending on the time and conditions,
This time we caught 8 Fluke ( two over 17 inch keepers and 6 at 15inches) and three Stripers, the largest being 21 inches. We also saw a couple of other Fluke and Stripers (no keepers) caught. The fishing here is really hampered by both the boat traffic and the auto traffic which really shakes the Bridge. All in all, its a good spot to try if you are in the Chatham area and have only a short time to fish. We look forward to another trip in August when the Harbor should be loaded with Scup and some big Fluke.
