Report:
Went out of the sound, had some nice seas. We decided to skip trout and reds and go just out of the sound and caught some very nice sized pogies. Slow trolled for about 20 minutes and we saw a king jump. hooked him up ten minutes later, but lost him on our light inshore rigs. Trolled for another hour and a half, had a spanish slice open our chum bag right in front of us. had a couple more knock downs, but none in the boat. Then a new member of the crew got sea sick and we returned home. The day before we saw some large spanish in the sound, but had no tackle with us. Their there, right in the small channel of the sound, just gotta work on getting them hooked next time.
