# 54206: Subject: Chesapeake Bay, Maryland

Submitted by Russ Harvey (ip 70.22.97.98)

  • Fished on 8/8/2005
  • Report received: 8/9/05

Water Temperature: 80
Water Clarity: good
Seas: 1 foot
Weather: Partly Cloudy
Fishing_for: Spot
Boat: Nancy Ellen
captain: Bill Fish

Report:
We fished at the mouth of the Choptank near Bouy 12. After a little searching of the area with his electronics Captain Bill found a large pod of Norfolk Spot.

We fished until our arms litterally got tired. Most of the Spot were on the medium large size with enough 'Jumbos' to peak our interest.

There were several 'head' boats in the area and fish were plentiful.
