Report:
Even though the forecast was for rain and T-storms in decieded to go down the cape and try fishing. Went out at 5am with only light rain. Seas were calm. I could see fish off the beach swiming along with there tails out of the water or rolling on the surfase. When I dropped my 2 oz blue and white Atoms plug near them it scared them away. Not the usally reaction. The first fish I hooked up on was something big. I fought it for more than 10 minutes before I got it to the beach. It was a big Bluefish. 30 inches to the fork in the tail about 10lbs. Fished for about 2 hours. Landed 6 Bluefish had another that was just a little smaller than the first. At one time made 3 cast had 3 6lb Bluefish. Only kept the first 3. Fillets for my friend and family. Surprised that I did not get one Striper.
