Report:
was out this morning at 4.30am. high tide was at 4.00am. i was catching 4-6 pound bluefish from the first cast. action was non-stop. i was using my light spinning rod. it was a fun morning. the blues were in schools around the rocks i was fishing off. they were really putting on a show jumping out of the water when hooked. going after my atoms plug again and again when they missed. sometimes chasing it right up to the rocks. in the hour that i fished i landed close to 20. all were healthy looking. kept 2 for dinner. just about every cast got at least a miss.i love using top water plugs, you really see the fish hit or miss.
