Report:
I had spring break off from teaching, and thought I'd head out for some saltwater fun. The weather was perfect. The moon, well, I'd of liked it not so "full". The boat was empty and after seeing the faces of the poor guys who got skunked on the Georges trip, I started to have my doubts. After the long slow ride to the bank I enjoyed a wonderful sunrise and strong coffee. First drop was a bust, but the day was just getting started. It's too bad much of the fish we did catch were too short. I threw back at least two dozen cod and a few haddock. I kept six cusk for Good Friday's fish-n-chips. It was great to see a few familiar faces. The pool was taken by a nice wolfish, Newport John's first.
