Report: I had a Great Day of light tackle casting action on 4/26. Non-stop action! For the (half) day we had 25 Bluefish (1-2 pounds), 7 Bonito (3-5 pounds), and released 2 Red Drum (30" and 33") All of these fish were caught on 10 lb spinning tackle. I also had close encounters with 3 GIANTS of the Marine World. Leatherback Turtles, Ocean Sunfish, and a Basking Shark.
I expect GREAT FISHING to continue and lots of bigger and better things are right around the corner (COBIA!) I am availiable for charter on May 8, 9, 11, and 12. I will be fishing for Bonito and Bluefish and by the middle of May I will start Cobia Fishing. I also expect that fishing for Chopper Bluefish (8-14 pounders) will be outstanding for the first 3 weeks of May. These fish are a blast to catch on spinning or fly tackle.
Anyone interested should call me at 252-504-2611 or visit my website at www.fishtopwatercharters.com for more information. Anyone planning a trip to Beaufort/Morehead City/Atlantic Beach, NC this summer give me a call if you want to try a full or half day of light tackle fishing. BIG FISH on LIGHT TACKLE--That's my deal.
