# 56411: Subject: Hogg Inlet, South Carolina

Submitted by Inletfool (ip 63.117.196.229)

  • Fished on 6/9/2007

  • Report received: 6/15/2007

Water Temperature: 78
Water Clarity: murky
Seas: light chop
Weather: Hot, sunny, and hot. Light to medium wind.....
Fishing_for: flounder
Boat: Inletfool
captain: Mitch

Report:
Lots of boats, less flounder. Did see a few caught. Lots of smallish mullet and even smaller shrimp...

I caught one 17" flounder and a similar size trout drifting with mullet....I think the combination of heat and discolored water had'em shutting their mouths....No sign of any reds....

Going after'em again on the 4th, hope to catch enough to fry.... Anyone with tips for murrells inlet and would like to share'em with a hungry fisherman would be a blessing!!!
