Report: Fished out of Cocodrie, LA with 2 customers. The weather was so hot the specks and reds were biting just to cool off in the 100 qt. igloo. We fished the oil wells in 10-12' depth range. We managed to catch 75 specks and released 15 bull reds from 20-35lbs. They all fell for live croakers fished on a 1/2oz carolina rig. We tried plastics but they would not have anything to do with em. Why argue with success. The fishing will remain good for specks for another month and the bullreds are migrating to the passes for their annual spawning. Call for a trip.
