Report:
fished with mom and dad as it was thier birthday weekend. had an ok day with ten flounder caught, several lost and one nice 22.5" fish brought in by dad. also caught an undersize trout and a 2lb bluefish.
plenty of mullet and shrimp in the inlet at this time.
highlight of the weekend occurred saturday when i hooked a very large fish just off the intercoastal waterway. it ran off around 5o yards of 14lb test at the hookset, then jumped and ran off another 20-30 yards before jumping again and breaking me off. a tarpon this far north!!!!! hey maybe globel warming isn't so bad?
i'll be back the second the water temps start falling...hoping the trout and reds are there to meet me.....
