  • Fished on 10/6/2007

    Water Temperature: 79.5
    Water Clarity: murky
    Seas: 2-4 feet
Weather: Went from very cloudy to very sunny then back to cloudy with rain. all with an east wind of 10 to 20 mph.
    Fishing_for: Flounder, trout, reds
    Boat: Inletfool
    captain: Mitch

    Report:
i had a great day on the water with my wife anita. we hoped for enough flounder for supper but wasn't to lucky on the wind. east winds all day. not much action on the big three of flounder, trout and drum. had several bluefish, croker, seabass and a few monster pinfish that searved well for cutbait. inlet is full of mullet. did not see many shrimp or manhaden. was going to go out of the mouth of the inlet and troll for some of the nice kings i heard were bitting but was alittle to rough for me with the windy conditions. did see several larger boats in close to the cherry grove pier.
