  • Fished on 10/7/2007

    Water Temperature: 50's
    Water Clarity: clear
    Seas: 1-3ft
Weather: Scattered rain and clouds to bright blue skys and sunshine.
    Fishing_for: Cod, pollack, hake, haddock
    Boat: Bunny Clark
    captain: Ian Keniston

    Report:
Took the Bunny Clark out of Perkins Cove, Ogunquit with my sister Christine. Cold rain led to warm sunshine as the day went on. Most of our catch was pollack with Chrissie taking the pool with a 21.5 lbs. pollack. Several small haddock and cod were boated but not kept. Some large Blue Sharks circled the boat for much of the day making landing a fish "real fun". Had a good laugh at some "land lubbers" who thought a two hour trip in the rain would make for a fun filled day on the water! NOT! That, coupled with their sea sickness must of made for a mememoriable trip. The Bunny Clark is a "Man's Man's Boat" If you try to fish unperpared you'll pay the consequences. Be prepared for a rough time, but also be prepared to catch fish and not "fish for fish".
