Report:
Hey Folks. Great weekend fishing with my Dad in his Mckee Craft.
Started out at daylight Sat. with a low tide and trout bitting in the intercoastal. Caught 3 keepers before tide started moving in. Decided to leave bitting fish (always a mistake) to get our shrimp for the day back in the grass beds. Gottem in an hour and left for the Little Rivers jeddis. Notta. Wind and rough seas keeped us off the rocks to far. Wasted 1/2 day for 3 flounder all small with 1 being a keeper. Called Capt. Wayne and asked about the intercoastal bite we left this morning, He said to hurry as He had caught 12 trout in the last 30 min including throwbacks. Got there quick and started hammering. Caught 13 keepers til dark with several fish over 3lbs. All trolling plastics.
Started out Sunday morning at 5:45 at same spot as last evening. Had a unbelievable morning catching almost 40 sea trout before 10:30am...We had our 20 limit by 7:30 and started culling smaller fish..Once we found the right color it was on!..What a day of fellowship and fishing with my Dad. Can't wait to get my Wife on a bite like that....Keepem tight
Ps I'll post some pictures of these fish on my Website in the next few days if anyone would like to look it's:
