Submitted by Bill P (ip 69.244.199.210) - Fished on 12/21/2007
- Report received: 12/25/2007
Water Temperature: 65 Water Clarity: clear Seas: 1-2' Weather: Beautiful Fishing_for: anything that would bite Boat: Cat La Due captain: Bev (Grandmaw)
Report: Left DI after fog lifted about 10 am with Grandpaw, Bill, Grandmaw , Bev, Amy, and two grandsons Andy (16) and Tommy (14). Fished around some rigs south of FT Morgan and caught six reds 5 to 10#, probably a dozen keeper size red snapper that we had to release and numerous bluefish. Most fish were caught deep jigging with diamond jigs and bucktails. The fish bit all day. We had a two hour Blue Angel show as we fished. The weather was beautiful and the whole family had a great time. Too bad the boy's daddy had to work to support us all.
