    Water Temperature: 60

    Seas: glass
Weather: As good as could be expected!

    Report:
Hit the water at 6am and steered a course west, towards San Luis Pass. From 6:30 to 7:00, the action was dead, however, around 7:15 things started to heat up. I still have a backache today, as we had steady action until about 9:15! It's just an estimate, but I think between the two of us we brought to the boat somewhere around 25 redfish! Some we netted, because we thought they might be legal, and some we released without nettig because we just kenew they were under 20 inches. However, Five beautiful Reds, between 20"-22", made it to the dinner table for a wonderful New Years Eve dinner!! At least as many fell into the range of 19"-20", the rest being in the the 17"-18" range.
