Report:
Fished Friday and Saturday morning on the south jetty. Water was a dark brown on Friday but managed 5 nice reds the smallest around 23" and the largest pushing 27". Saturday was very slow. Water clarity was a little better but full of trash and weed. Couldn't keep the baits clean. Found a small area of cleaner water on the other side of the main cut and pulled out one nice red around 25" and two gaspergoos. All in all a great weekend for fishing with the weather and a nice stringer for friday. Its a great/relaxing time of year to fish when we don't have to deal with all of the croaker, sand trout, lady fish, and piggy perch tearing up our baits and all of the redfish are good sized. All fish caught on live shrimp in about 6 feet of water.
