Report:
South side of the point is giving up all the dogfish you can handle. A few reef sharks and spiney dogfish too!

The waters to the Northeast were pretty good around and for an hour or two after low tide. We got a fair number of small bluefish and one puppy drum. Fishing died with the incoming tide. We were using fresh mullet. I recommend buying bait before you come onto Hatteras Island because it is scarce down here. Yesterday were were able to get some good mullet at Frisco Tackle.

Remember to email the Department of Interior and National Park Service and let them know you want to keep beach access open.

And remember to let our good friends at Toyota know how much we appreciate them giving $20 million dollars to the Audubon Society, who are trying to shut all access to the Point, North Point at Oregone Inlet, and all of Hatteras Inlet.
