    Report:
Started in the PM at mid-outgoing tide. After crossing the creek at Union Beach, I moved W around the point and threw out a wire-leader rig baited w/ bunker. The hits came frequently for awhile and then stopped. Eventually I moved N, toward the point, and immediately had one on bunker, then another on metal, then nothing. Final tally: 4 on bunker, 2 on metal. Size range: 23" to 25". A brief try w/ a popper was futile because there was so much floating weed. A young fisherman to my right landed a 30" weakfish on clam.
