Report:
The fishing continues to be disappointing. Lots of dogfish and a fair number of skates. Almost no drum or bluefish due to the cold water. Things should improve next week.
But if you truely value fishing on the Outer Banks you have got to start letting the National Park Service and the Secretary of the Interior you don't like the way their going about beach closures. These closures are blocking all access to beach. That means you not allowed to walk along the water line in these areas.
Also let Toyota know you don't like them supporting the Audubon Society. The Audubon Society is behind these beach closures. If they get away with this action down here their going to start using the same strategy to shut down fishing and hunting in other areas.
You can't fish if you can get your line in the water.
