Report:
First stop was Western Raritan Bay, PB area. Brisk W wind blowing straight in, unlike yesterday when the wind was blowing outward. Throwing metal, I hooked 3 bluefish, landing 2. After lunch, I moved to Sandy Hook, North Beach Area. Walking N, and stopping just short of the False Point, I saw a few terns diving. Again throwing metal resulted in occasional hits. I landed 9 bluefish ranging from 18" to 26" and 1 Striper, 20". After the action stopped, I walked around the point, and another fisherman pointed out terns working around the next point, in the cove. Here there was heavy bird play, and breaking fish feeding on rainfish. I landed 14 cocktail bluefish from this blitz before it moved out beyond casting range.
