Submitted by Hot Rod Lincoln (ip 65.91.125.187)

  • Fished on 6/14/2008
  • Report received: 6/16/2008

Water Temperature: 79
Water Clarity: clear
Seas: 2'
Weather: Light breeze most of the day
Fishing_for: dolphin
Boat: Hot Rod Lincoln
captain: Mike

Report:
Put lines in around the 90' drop and caught 5 nice dolphin on the way out to Big Rock. On the rock, I picked up 2 more and decided to head to much deeper water.....780'....since I heard one boat capitain talking about getting into a bunch of fish in 100 fathoms. The only strike in the deep water was a blue marlin (probably 250 lbs) that threw the hook after about 10 minutes and 4 jumps. First blue marlin I've ever hooked.....I'm ready for number 2
