    Report:
This morning, we made a left hand turn and trolled toward Asbury Park...nothing. Regretfully, all the the bunker bass and blues were off Seaside in 70 feet of water. A guy at my marina showed me two bass (one 37 pounds and one 39 pounds) he caught off the Seaside ferris wheel on live bunker...nice fish. Oh well, we're still having bar-b-qued bluefish for tonight's meal. In the river, most of the private boat anglers were fishing along the doggy beach and catching mostly short fluke. I saw one angler catch a single legal fluke. The water temp near the inlet was 66 degrees while up at the Rt #70 bridge the temp was 73 degrees. I was think about trying for fluke in the river on Monday, but I'll have to rethink this plan. The anglers fishing the ocean off Spring Lake were putting together a great catch of skates.
