    Report:
This morning on the outgoing tide, the water temp at the Rt #35 bridge was 62 degrees. Up river at the old hospital area, the water temp was 73-75 degrees. Guess where all of the fluke were active??? Yep, in the warmer water between the canal and the Rt #70 bridge. There were lots of short fluke in this area with a sprinkling of legal fluke if you were patient and worked through the shorts. The other good news was that the holiday boat traffic had not yet developed as of this morning. Incidentally, Clark's Landing is NOT selling killes as live bait. Their pump broke, and the store manager may not get it fixed this season...rats. All of my fluke were caught this morning using a Gulp new penny shrimp lure.
