  • Report received: 7/3/2008

Water Temperature: .
Water Clarity: stained
Seas: 1'-2'
Weather: hot, windy
Fishing_for: Fluke
Boat: Roosters
captain: Tom

Report:
A brisk SW wind made for long drifts along with favorable tidal action on Sandy Hook Bay for Tom and I this morning. There were many short Fluke caught, some really small ones, along with three keepers. A 20" Fluke for me Tom landed an 18" and a 20". Sea Robin strips accounted for all keepers. Although it was hot the stiff breeze made it comfortable everywhere we fished. There were plenty of Sea Robins but no yellow-eyed demons and no Dolphins to bother us. There were only a few boats out, but a lot of clamers near the Shrewsbury Channel. Pete
