Water Temperature: 77 Water Clarity: Slightly Murky Seas: 1-2 foot Weather: Beautiful Sunday morning. Partly cloudy, comfortable temperature, and light breeze out of the Northwest. Fishing_for: Fluke Boat: Bella captain: Joe
Report:
Out on the water by 7:00am we dropped our lines at the 10 buoy in the Reach channel. Nothing on our lines for an hour.
We headed over to the Ambrose channel and dropped the lines by the 6 buoy. My brother-in-law boated an 18.5 and a 20". We had a lot of shorts mixed with robins and blacks.
Action slowed and we decided to try Sandy Hook channel for the last stop. I boated a 22" at the tip of the hook and three passes later that proved to be the only keeper. Drift was 4 mph in that area during mid-tide.
Another great day on the water!
