Submitted by Jim Balicki (ip 96.234.71.148)

  • Fished on 8/18/2008

  • Report received: 8/18/2008

Water Temperature: .
Water Clarity: Brownish
Seas: Light, becoming choppy and rolly in the Ambrose Ch.
Weather: Sunny, moderate W wind in the bay, S wind in the Ambrose Ch.
Fishing_for: Fluke
Boat: Sea Hunter
captain: Rob

Report:
PM trip. Slow pick resulting in 5 short fluke, up to 17". A sea-robin strip/spearing combo accounted for all of my fluke -- a Gulp teaser caught only sea robins. We tried the Terminal Ch, the Chappel Hill Ch, and ended up at the Ambrose Ch. Only a handful of keepers on the boat, and one nice seabaass. Capt. expects the action to improve w/ the passage of the full-moon period.
