Report:
Started heading N from M'squan Inlet. Found birds, fish on top, and 2 PB from Belmar, off the Spring Lake/Belmar line. All jig fishing today. The fish were moving S. Each time we caught up to them the hit was usually on the 1st cast. After landing a "gaffer" and getting it into the cooler, it was time to move S and start over. I landed 6 bluefish, keeping 4. About 11AM the action stopped. and the PB's (6 of them) scattered, but never found the fish during the rest of the trip.

A big change from a trip 8 days ago on the same boat. Then, we tried jigging off Long Branch and Monmouth Beach, but were unsuccessful. So we moved to the Mud Buoy, where we anchored and chummed for the rest of the trip.
