Report:
Went fishing this morning in the new river over by channel marker 33, and couldn't believe what was going on. First off shrimp were everywhere and thats what i used for bait. Had four poles out with flounder rigs. I was on the water at 700am, caught some bait and headed to marker 33. It was me and my grandfather, we caught about 50 black drum, all over 17 inches, caught about 20 puppy drums, of course we only could keep 2, both out of the 20 only 4 were under 18 inches, the two we did keep was 24 and 26 inches, we also caught 34 spot, and 5 flounders, all over the limit, i couldn't believe it, the best fishing in the river so far. hope this helps some others out there.
