    Report:
This morning, I reconfirmed why I don't fish the Manasquan River on a weekend. There are just too many boating nuts who can't see no wake signs, only have one speed for a boat (ultra fast), and yet complain about the high price of boat gas. Why don't they slow down??? From the railroad bridge east, there were a ton of sea robins, so we fished west of the Rt#35 bridge next to marker buoys where no one else ever fishes. Both my spouce and I boated legal fluke in the 18-20 inch class. So tonight we'll have a Jersey fresh meal consisting of fresh fluke, fresh tomatoes, fresh pasta sauce, fresh peppers, and fresh cucumbers all vegtables which came from our garden. Should be good. We'll also box some fluke filets for the freezer. The fall run of fluke in the river is still on, but the numbers are down from earlier in the week. At least for our boat. Didn't see any bergalls but the snappers are chewing up magic killies.
