Report: For those who fished the normal fluke offerings of Gulp, killies, spearing , and squid there were numerous shorts and a few keepers caught all around the boat. We spent the morning drifting the Reach Channel with most of the other boats from the area. A steady pick of shorts was the norm along with the usual pesky sea robins in between. As I have for the past few weeks, I decided to stick with the larger live baits hoping to catch some bigger fish. Around 11:00 AM the live spot that I was fishing was picked up by a fluke of 6.8 lbs. That fish would turn out to be the eventual pool winner and the only fluke that I caught today. I stayed for the afternoon trip and there is nothing to report. We fished Chapel Hill Channel & the Reach. The fish did not chew well in the afternoon as only a handful of shorts and small keepers were landed.Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
