Report:
I finally went fishing for the Giant Red Drum tonight. First time all summer and it was pretty good. David, Kyle, and I fished from 8pm until 11pm and the bites were steady. We were plagued with Bluefish, and caught 7 of them up to 2 pounds. By my best guess, we caught 15 Red Drum out of 19 probable Drum bites. David had the biggest at 47" and he also the smallest at 35". The majority of our Drum were from 38" to 44". We caught 10 that measured 40" or better. I liked the numbers, but just like last year, the biggest Drum seem to be absent from the water off Cedar Island.
