Report:
What a nice charter today. Had Tim and Sam aboard the Inletfool Too. Two great guys from Baltimore, MD.
The day started slow, no trout biting in the intracoastal or jedi. The seas were nice so we decided to run out to the near shore reef. Caught a couple black bass and a nice sized shark on cut bait but the bite was slow. Saw birds working futher out and tried to get to them but they were settling down as we arrived. Saw several large swirls on top but could not get a bite. No more birdplay so we went back in to the jedi. Tried cut bait near north jedi but had no takers.
Got a call from my friend Wayne who was starting to get a few trout in the waterway. Decided to head in and try the troll before ending the day. Got on the trout around 2:30. Caught 13 on jigs with a couple of throwbacks before dark.
Overall a decent day considering the rain and front passing thru the day before.
Tim, Sam, thanks for being such great guest. I enjoyed fishing with you guys.
Hope to make a few more trips down before the real cold weather moves in.
