Report:
Large schools of striped bass (schoolies) with some larger fished mixed in between Mohegan Sun and Stone container. Very large school picked up on sonar just down stream from Stone Container. School was in the thousands of fish. Fish are not responding to jig with 4 to 6" fin-s, split tail jerk baits or sluggos (perl white). However, they seem to be latching on to tube and worm trolling jigs, fly fished with small shrimp flies or clouser minnows. Large school of bunker breaking water near rt2A underpass.
