# 57765: Subject: Hogg Inlet, South Carolina
Submitted by Mitch Rivers (ip 24.176.82.114) - Fished on 5/3/2009
- Report received: 5/7/2009
Water Temperature: 72-76 Water Clarity: Murky on outgoing tide Seas: Rough Weather: Mostly Cloudy with 10-25 mph winds from the SW.
Fishing_for: Flounder Boat: Inletfool Too captain: Mitch
Report: Tough afternoon on the inlet. Wind made it hard to fish the high tide areas that hold flounder. Ended up anchoring in a few locations with no bites but crabs.
Saw a pod of dolphin inside the inlet. First time ever in all my years of fishing the area.
I sure hope the proposed dredging takes place soon. Almost too shallow in most places to navigate. We are losing a great fishing place to silt. Fast!
See you on the water this weekend in the flounder tourn.
