Report:
With the wind blowing from the East, small craft warnings up, it didn't make for good drifting conditions on Sandy Hook Bay. Tom and I thought we should stay local to Atlantic Highlands in our search for some keeper size Fluke. It started raining as we left the slip and rained most of the morning until we returned about noon. Sideslipping against the tide we managed four keeper Fluke, about twenty shorts, three Bluefish and two buckets of Sea Robins. The Sea Robins seem more plentiful than last year, they made excellent bait. Tom knows just how to cut nice strips. fished 5-28 Thursday Pete
