Report: Jim and I fished the river today for a somewhat meager catch. The conditions early on (NW on the ebb) were great but the wind switched to the SW during the flood and created a wind vs. tide condition for the second week in row. Although we had a good drift in the morning the fish did not co-operate for us and everyone else on the river judging by the amount of moving around. We picked away on the flood tide for 18 fluke of which only 1 made legal size. Over the years I,ve experienced some exceptional early season fluking up there, but this season is leaving a lot to be desired. I'll be at it again during the week, hopefully with better results. Tight lines! TINKNOCKER
