Report:
Leisurely evening for Jason and I aboard the Misty Morn tonight. Thought it was my night as I had 4 fluke (albeit all shorts) within the first 10 minutes but could only muster up 3 more fluke (all shorts) the rest of the trip. Jason had 6 shorts + 1 sea robin.
First 2 drifts were ideal, then it was too fast then it was more of a slide.
Tired a different type of rig tonight. I tied a dropper loop about 1/4 way down from one end of a 48" piece of #20 flurocarbon leader. I then cut one leg of the dropper and tied on a 2 ounce Spro that was tipped with a GULP. At the end of the leader I tied on a chartreuse/white clouser minnow as a trailer. This I tipped with spearing. all my fish came on the trailer.
17 fares accounted for 6 keepers.
