Report:
Considering we had less than ideal conditions with a wind against tide situation for 3 out of the 4 hours on this trip, fishing was good. I had a keeper within the first 5 minutes of the first drift. That was 1 of 7 to be put aboard. Unfortunately Jason took a short just seconds before to win the $1 first fish pool. My 19" fluke came on a olive/white clouser that was tipped with a spearing that was fished as a trailer behind a 2 ounce Spro.

On the next drift I switched to a light spinning rod with a 1 ounce Spro tipped with a GULP swimming minnow and a standout hook above it tipped with a GULP shrimp. I had a fish on the first 7 out of 8 casts. 5 17" fluke (3 on the Spro), 1 sea robin and I dropped a heavy fish (the first 4 fish I dropepd that had some weight). I alternated between this rig and and the Spro with the trailer. I did land a second keeper on the only drift I dragged bait.

I had just the 2 keepers and lost count of the number of shorts. Jason caught all shorts & sea robins. High hook was shared by 2 with 3 apiece. Pool winner was @ #3.5. I beleive there were 15s keeper put aboard tonight.
