Report: I really didn't expect too much today as the fishing in the river hasn't been anything to rave about so far this year. The rain from the past couple of days didn't hurt the water quality although the tides are running high due to the full moon. Drifting conditions on the river today were about as good as one can expect and it showed in the fishing. Jim and I worked hard for our catch of 42 fluke and at the end of the day we had 6 nice fluke up to 21" laying on ice in the cooler. As usual, we bucktailed for the entire trip with Jim fishing a jig/Gulp/killie combo while I opted for tandem 1/4 oz shad darts tipped with killies. Again, many of today's fluke were in the 17"+ category with some very small fish added in. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
