Report:
Jim, Tom, & I returned to the river again today. Tom started the day off slightly downstream of the bridge with 3 quick fluke, all of them being shorts. The drift wasn't very good there so we moved to the other side of the bridge and began to pick away at the fluke. Jim and I were bouncing bucktails and Tom dragged a bait rig tipped with a killie. As the day went on it soon became evident that the fish were responding better to the single killie over the bouncing jigs. Jim swithed over to a rig , but I continued to jig. When we called it a day we had landed 52 fluke with 7 of them being keepers up to the 2 that were 3 1/2 lbs apiece. Jim managed 3 keepers out of 10 fluke, Tom had 3 keepers out of 26 fluke, and I totaled 1 keeper out of 16 fish. We should have had 8 keepers, but a mishap with the net at the boat resulted in a lost fish (sorry Tom)my bad. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
