Report:
On vacation in Ft. Myers Beach with my wife, we decided to try this Party Boat run by Captain Tony's Fishing Adventures. The boat is fairly comfortable for fishing though the fans in the cabin were not working very well so they provided little relief from the intense heat.

The mates: Guy, Dave & Mike were helpful and the Captain did keep us in action throughout the day. Unfortunately, most of the trip consisted of riding instead of fishing. Of the six & one half hours on the boat, four hours were used getting to & from the fishing grounds and another 20 to 30 minutes moving from spot to spot. Therefore, fishing time was only about two hours. Very frustrating!

My wife & I did manage to catch 47 fish, including: Lane Snappers, Gray Snappers, Sand Perch, Spotted Grunt and a Lizard fish. All small fish which were either released or given to other fishermen. It is hard to believe that closer fishing grounds cannot be found by these Party Boats - If we wanted a boat ride, there are many excursion boats available - we want to fish. Before using this or other Florida Party Boats be aware of how little actual fishing time there will be.
