Water Temperature: 85 Water Clarity: Stained on outgoing tide Seas: Choppy Weather: Sunny and hot. Thunderstorm to the NE that blew by.
Windy until sunset then dead calm. Fishing_for: Trout, reds, flounder Boat: Inletfool Too captain: Mitch
Report: Got on the water at 4pm. Tried to catch some bait in Mud Bay but to windy. Tried dead shrimp behind shell islands. Caught 1 small red and several crokers. Moved closer to ramp because of nearby storm.
Found bait working around creek. Caught some shrimp and mullet as the sun went down. Anchored near creek but nothing going on. Wind died to nothing, bugs came out in force. Moved out on the bay hoping to get some relief. Caught one big skate before bugs drove us out of our minds. Loaded up and came home.....Maybe next time...
Dreaming of cool weather!
