Report:
Fished the high tide on the grass flats from 5:30 – 8pm. with a friend. I loaned him some sneakers to wade in. When he got out of the boat he realized that he had picked up two left shoes. No problem since the sneakers were size 12 and he takes a size ten. Saw about ten redfish on each of the two grass flats that we fished. Saw fish on the flats even on the falling tide. I caught and released a redfish on a Dahlberg fly for the first time. I’ve had redfish follow the Dahlberg fly before but never did they eat it. The fly seemed to spook some of the fish and I’ll try a crab pattern next time.
