Report:
Waded grass flats for redfish 0730-1030 this morning with my daughter. I thought that conditions were good but I saw only one redfish. The redfish that I saw was sunning itself and blew out of some grass as I walked up. I think the morning tide has fewer fish on the flats because of cooling of the land during the night. The air temperature last night was about 65 but the water is still about 78. I will be wading some afternoon tides in the next two weeks and can check out my theory. The real treat was my daughter asking to stay out longer when I got ready to head back in. Unfortunately I had a wedding to attend and staying out longer was not an option.
