    Report:
I fished the canal around the tide change this afternoon and the tog are there and chewing. I can swim a bucktail for fluke as good if not better than most but bottom fishing for blackfish is another story. I picked up 3 doz. green crabs and began fishing @ 2:30 and called it a day when my last bait was gone @ 5:45. The 36 greenies produced 72 baits. Those 72 baits produced 72 hits from blackfish, but only 25-30 were hook-ups. Many of the fish today were in the 11-12" range with a few just short of the 14" size limit. I did however manage 1 keeper at slightly over 14". Hopefully my timing will improve as the season progresses. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
