Report:
I fished the falling tide to the high tide by myself. Caught two redfish on gold spoons to start the day and later caught a black drum on a crab fly. Wading for redfish on the grass flats I saw about eight fish but only two were tailing. I had about ten casts at the tailing redfish but just couldn’t put the fly on its dinner plate. A mullet pattern and shrimp pattern were used unsuccessfully. The day was perfect and the wind light. The low number of tailing fish I can’t explain as the wind should not have been a factor.
