Report:
A friend and I fished the high tide tonight. We waded in the grass flats and saw eight tailing redfish and caught one. I caught the first redfish that I saw. This was the first time my friend had waded for redfish. We spent the next three hours throwing flies at tailing fish but couldn’t get the right presentation or had the wrong fly on. The weather was near perfect but we ran out of light at the end of the tide. A new GPS unit was a great help running back through the bays to the ramp. Hopefully the wind will hold off and the high tide tomorrow will allow some wading.
